Nurses share COVID-19 experiences

The lives of medical personnel working on the frontlines to help treat patients infected with COVID-19 have been turned upside down. Their personal and professional lives haven’t been the same since the pandemic hit the United States. Two Cornwall nurses, Yoriko Tange-Campbell and Matthew Aggazi-Cowton graciously agreed to share their experiences over the past three months.

Highlands Board met May 11

Town Hall remains closed in Highland Falls, Supervisor Bob Livsey said, and meetings remain closed to the general public. That said, the business conducted in Town Hall is moving along as usual, members of the Town Board reported at a meeting on May 11, and special exceptions can be made for comment at board meetings.

Despite an international pandemic, the Town of Highlands will hang it’s Military Tribute banners, as well as new First Responder banners, along Main St. in Highland Falls and Rt. 9W in Fort Montgomery this summer.
