Assemblyman Colin Schmitt stopped by Bear Mountain Pizza & Cafe last week to recognize it as his “small business of the month”. Providence Aiossa is the owner of the restaurant, located at 840 Rt. 9W, Fort Montgomery.
“Bear Mountain Pizza is known for treating every customer like family,” Schmitt said. “Providence and her staff have gone above and beyond the call of service as a local small business and have given back abundantly to the local community. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic Providence supplied families in need with gift certificates to Bear Mountain Pizza & Cafe to ensure a hot meal to those without. We are proud to honor Providence and her family for their service to the community!”
Aiossa was very grateful to receive the honor and said: “We are so happy to open our doors to any member of the community in need and glad to have played a small part in giving back. I thank Assemblyman Schmitt for his support of small businesses.”
