Attention parents of Highland Falls and Fort Montgomery children who will be four years old by December 1, 2020.
The Fort Montgomery Elementary School will host Open House events in February where parents can visit classrooms to see the Highland Falls-Fort Montgomery Central School District’s pre-kindergarten program in action. Parents will also be able to take home a registration packet to begin the process of registering children for the 2020-21 school year.
Parents can visit the school on one of the following dates: Thursday, February 6 from 9-9:30 a.m.; Wednesday, February 12 from 9:30-10 a.m.; or Friday, February 21 from 9-9:30 a.m.
The FMES operates two classes of free, full-day pre-kindergarten. Transportation is provided. Once registered, parent orientation, screening sessions, bus orientation, etc. are held in the months leading up to the start of school in September.
