The first weekend of the Highland Falls Winter-market, held in the parish hall of Holy Innocents Church went very well, according to market manager Akenataa Hammagaadji.
The indoor farmers market of sorts will be held from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., weather permitting, on November 9, 16 and 30, December 7 and 14, January 11 and 25, February 15 and 29, March 14 and 28, April 11 and 25, and May 16 and 30.
Vendors who will be selling at the winter market this week include:
• Florida Bakery & Deli (authentic Polish kielbasa & baked goods)
• Do Ré Mi Farms (mushrooms, salad greens, fruits & vegetables in season)
• Empanada Supreme (beef, chicken & vegan empanadas)
• Anne Hess (hand sewn aprons, quilted bags, potholders & other kitchen items)
• Picklicious (olives & pickles)
• James Brothers (honey & maple syrup)
• The Peddler (hand poured candles, scarves & shawls, humorous tee shirts)
• The Center (information and resources)
• Kookie Kween (gluten free baked goods)
• Two Sisters Sweets (home baked goods)
• John Cascina (Multigrain bread, whole wheat boules, focaccia, ravioli, mozzarella & other prepared Italian specialties)
• D’s Homemade Jams (jams & jellies)
• Springbrook Hollow Farm Distillery (gin, bourbon, moonshine, lemoncello, orangecello).
