Since the arrival of their tiny twin babies just around Thanksgiving, Highland Falls’ Pat and AnnMarie Flynn have put together a community-wide food drive each fall.
It’s that time once again. The 18th annual John and Pat’s Pantry Raid is scheduled for Sunday, November 20. On Sunday, November 13 bags will be dropped off at most residents in the community.
All people need to do is fill the bags with non-perishable goods from their pantries — or buy new — and put them outside their front door on November 20. They’ll be collected by volunteers and then used to fill the shelves in both local food pantries — at Sacred Heart and Holy Innocents Churches .
Volunteers are needed for both dropping off empty and collecting full bags. To help, please call Pat Flynn at 845-641-3981.
