Schmitt honored Livseys last week
Assemblyman Colin Schmitt has a small business of the month appreciation program to show recognition for a local business in the 99th Assembly District each month. For the month of April, he recognized Richie’s Little Place in the Town of Highlands.
Schmitt stated, “Richie’s Little Place is a casual dining establishment that has operated for 52 years under the same husband and wife team where you can find delicious lunch or dinner with dine-in and takeout options. The owner serves as the supervisor of the Highlands, is a veteran, and is an active community member. I thank them for their dedication to our community. I hope for their continued success in the years to come.”
When Schmitt stopped by last Friday, Bob Livsey said, “We would like to thank Assemblyman Colin Schmitt for recognizing us as the 99th Assembly District April small business of the month. Richie’s Little Place means so much to us, as it was named after my brother who was a Marine Corps recruiter, so we truly have kept it all in the family. Having been a local small business for 52 years it has been a privilege to serve this community for this long and we hope to continue to do so.”
