Elfriede M. Toth of Highland Falls, NY passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, NY. She was 94 years old. The daughter of Emil and Maria (Lauterschlager) Mai, she was born on August 13, 1927, in Karlsruhe, Germany.
Elfriede was a manager for the Rose Harris Beauty Salon in Highland Falls.
Elfriede is survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Elfriede was predeceased by her husband Stephen W. Toth.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at William F. Hogan Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Highland Falls, NY 10928. A Funeral Service will begin at 1 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY.
