Local artists make big screen debut

Warwick

Student artists from James I. O’Neill High School and Cornwall Central High School will be making their big screen debut at Warwick Drive-In!

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the Orange County Arts Council was unable to hold its annual “Arts Build Confidence Students Arts Showcase” at its usual venue, the Galleria at Crystal Run in Middletown. Instead, 17 participating schools will have select student artwork projected on one of three movie screens during intermissions at the drive-in theater.

Viewers in attendance will receive a QR code they can scan with their smartphones, directing them to the Orange County Arts  Council’s website where they’ll find details on each student’s work of art.

O’Neill student artwork can be seen on Screen Three from July 11 until July 16, while  Cornwall is scheduled from July 18 through July 24 on Screen One.
