Individuals, families, businesses, organizations and others planning to order 2020 Military Appreciation Banners from the Highlands Chamber of Commerce have until March 30 to get the order in.
The patriotic banners will fly for the third year over Main St. in Highland Falls and Rt. 9W in Fort Montgomery. They tell the stories of local veterans, living or deceased, and have proven to be a popular attraction in the Town of Highlands. The sturdy 24″x48″ vinyl banners will be hung around Memorial Day, and remain in place through Veterans Day.
The cost to purchase a banner is $150. Once the banners are taken down in the fall, they are cleaned and presented to whomever ordered it.
