Although February was the official month of the founding of the Boy Scouts (on 2/6/1910) making February their 110th anniversary, February was so crowded with historic events, the Boy Scouts were mostly forgotten.
In 1983, President Ronald Reagan signed the bill that named the third Monday in January as the official observance ‘Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday’.
Another school session is in full swing. Students are meeting with friends. Lots of interaction with sports, trips, and, oh yes, lots of classes for learning about everything, with new and ever-changing teachers.
