Sandra E. Christian of Highland Falls, NY, passed away on April 27, 2024, at the Joe Rasso Hospice Residence in New City, NY. She was 84 years old. The daughter of the late Grace (Hover) and Ernest Cudworth, she was born on August 29, 1939, in Troy, NY.
Sandra worked as a cashier at Rite Aid in Highland Falls, NY.
She is survived by Paul Christian, her beloved husband of 65 years; her daughter June Patterson of Highland Falls, NY; her son Paul Christian of Fort Montgomery, NY; her sister Margaret Williams of Wappingers Falls, NY; four grandchildren: Stephen, Andrew, Derek, and Kevin; and two great-grandchildren: Savannah, and Isabella; in addition to several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sandra was predeceased by her stepfather Rupert Cudworth, her sister Bernice Gilleo, and her son Christopher Christian.
Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at William F. Hogan Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Highland Falls, NY, with a Chapel Service beginning at 7:30 p.m. Burial of cremains will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the Town of Highlands Ambulance Corps, 254 Main St, Highland Falls, NY 10928.
