Carmela A. Donaldson passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024 at her home in Maybrook, NY. She was 71 years old.
Daughter of Gliceria Alicia Galarza Parra & the late Ezequiel Delacruz Carpio, Carmela was born on January 27, 1953 in Lima, Peru. She was a retired Housekeeper for 5 Star Inn in West Point, NY.
Survivors include her husband, Kerry P. Donaldson at home; mother, Gliceria Alicia Galarza Parra of Peru; son, Ezequiel Donaldson of Hurleyville, NY; brothers: Hermeregildo J. Calderon Galarza, Oscar G. Telles Galarza and Jose A. Valenzuela Galarza, all of Peru; sisters: Leonor G. Osorio of Lumpoc, CA, Alicia Delacruz Galarza of Peru and Carmen I. Valenzuela Galarza of Peru; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church, 353 Main Street, Highland Falls, NY. Interment will follow at Eagle Valley Cemetery in Town of Highlands, NY.
