Nancy J. Douglas

Monroe, NY

Nancy J. Douglas passed away on October 28, 2023, at Garnet Health Medical Center in Wallkill, NY. She was 63 years old. Daughter of the late J.R. and Teresa (Gunza) Winters, she was born on January 5, 1960, in Johnson City, TN. 

Nancy dedicated herself to providing love, support, and care as a devoted wife and nurturing mother. Her selflessness and dedication were an inspiration to those around her, and her family will always remember the sacrifices she made to ensure their well-being and happiness. She was also a former member of the Highland Falls Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. 

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Stephen A. Douglas and Charles E. Douglas both of Monroe, NY; and her sister Donna L. Winters-Michael of Capon Bridge, WV. In addition to her parents, Nancy was also predeceased by her husband Stephen J. Douglas, and her sister Vicki Fila. 

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe, NY 10950. Cremation will follow at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY. 

Memorial contributions may be made to a local Humane Society of one’s choice.

Linda A. Napolitano

October 30, 1950—October 23, 2023

Highland Falls, NY

Linda A. Napolitano, of Highland Falls, NY entered into eternal rest on October 23, 2023 at Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY. She was 72 years old.

The daughter of the late Frank J. Schmidt and Julia E. (Waugh) Schmidt, Linda was born on October 30, 1950 in Cornwall, NY.  

Linda was a retired Contract Specialist for USMA in West Point, NY and worked at West Point for over 30 years.

Linda was a devoted spouse, mother, and grandmother.  She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. She has touched so many lives by her selfless acts of kindness and her warm and friendly smile.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years: Joseph A. Napolitano at home; and her daughters: Nicole “Nikki” (Napolitano) Corbin (Glenn Corbin Jr) of Highland Falls, NY and Lisa Napolitano (Gilda Romero) of Plymouth, MN.  In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her daughter Christine “Chrissy” Napolitano; and her brother: Frank J. Schmidt, Jr.  Linda has 6 grandchildren (Mark, Justin, Kiera, Alexis, Nadia, and Elizabeth), as well as several nieces and nephews.

As per Linda’s wishes, cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY.  Inurnment will take place at a later date at Eagle Valley Cemetery in Highland Falls, NY. Please refer back to this website, www.Quigleybros.com, for further information.
