Richard C. Treacy, 70, of Milford, PA passed away on December 26, 2022, due to complications of cancer. The son of the late Hedy and James Treacy, he was born in Cornwall, NY, on May 19, 1952.
Rich attended Sacred Heart parochial grade school, and James I. O’Neill High School in Highland Falls, NY. He worked for a time as a building Superintendent in Manhattan, NY. He then joined the Steamfitters Union Local #373, where he worked most of his life.
Rich was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he loved being afield. He also loved working endlessly on his home and property, which gave him great satisfaction.
He is survived by his longtime partner Jean Kelly, his daughter Jessica Goldfarb and her husband Mike, and their two children Kiera and Grayson, his son James Treacy and his wife Jessica, and their children Freyja, Bjorn, and Ronan, his brother James Treacy and his wife Rita, his sister Carol Wojcik and her husband Raymond, and his former wife and mother of his children, Connie Treacy.
Visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2023, at William F. Hogan Funeral Home, 135 Main St., Highland Falls, NY 10928, with a Funeral Service beginning at 5:45 p.m. Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY.
