Entered into rest at the Agape Hospice House in Landrum SC after a battle with cancer.
She was predeceased by her mother and father Helen (Murphy) Packard and John K. Packard Jr, her brother John K Packard III, and husband Alex Rodriguez. She is survived by her nieces Jenna Plating, Kristen McDonough, Susan Novotny and Kathleen Osorio; grand-nieces and nephews Cora, Karina, Damian and Deion; sister-in-law Jennifer Packard; and many cousins.
Patricia grew up in Highland Falls, NY, where she graduated from Ladycliff High School. She worked for many years at the Park Restaurant before moving to Cape Cod, MA. There she worked as a home health aide until retiring in 2018 and moving to Travelers Rest, SC, where she grew flowers, kept the local bird population fed, and doted on her elderly pet chicken. She was beloved by the family dogs, whom she spoiled.
She will be missed by all, including her life-long friends from Highland Falls and elsewhere.
Funeral services will be private. Donations in her name can be made to St. Judes Childrens’ Hospital, American Cancer Society and Agape Hospice House in Landrum, SC.
