Arthur P. Pastin

Arthur P. Pastin passed away at 95-years-old on Sunday, January 30, 2022, peacefully with his two daughters and son-in-law by his side in Mesa, AZ. Art was born in Ellwood City, PA, on May 21, 1926, to Pasquale and Mary Pastin. Before moving to Mesa, Art was a longtime Highland Falls, NY resident.
Art was a WWII Combat Veteran. After WWII, he was assigned at West Point, NY, in Transportation, culminating as the Superintendent’s Driver. Following his active duty commitment, he worked 20 years and retired from the Printing Plant at West Point, NY.
Art was predeceased by his parents, Pasquale and Mary Pastin, Patsy Pastin, his two brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his two daughters Debra Rankin (Jack) of Florence, AZ and Michele Caslen (Bob) of New Smyrna Beach, FL, his five grandsons: Hunter Rankin, Robert Caslen (Lauren), Nicholas Caslen (Amy), Heath Rankin (Brittany) and Jeffrey Caslen (Elizabeth), 12 great-grandchildren, his two sisters Loretta Paganie and Barbara Schweinberg and many nephews and nieces.
Art was buried with military honors on February 22, 2022, at The National Cemetery in Phoenix, AZ.
