Lorraine Frances Ruscelli, age 64, passed away November 14th, 2021, in California, where she lived for most of her later years. She was born at Cornwall Hospital on August 22, 1957, and grew up in Fort Montgomery, NY where she lived with her parents and sisters.
Lori graduated from James O’Neil High School and later earned a degree in Microbiology from Penn State University. Her favorite job was at the greenhouse of the developer of the famous Stargazer lily. She was a gifted pianist and a masterful chess player.
Lori was predeceased by her parents, Sam and Stella Ruscelli, Jr, sister Diane, and children, Jason, Briel, and Paul. She is survived by daughter Samantha and grandson Zack, both of South Carolina, sister Nancy of West Virginia, Aunt Stella Bailey of Fort Montgomery, many cousins, dear friends John and Pat Geaney of California, and her two beloved miniature long-haired dachshunds.
Burial will be at Peacedale Cemetery in Highland Falls, NY. No special services are planned at this time. William F. Hogan Funeral Home is assisting the family.
