Thelma I. DeLorenzo passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, in Campbell Hall, NY She was 95 years old. Daughter of the late Burrowes and Elizabeth Emmons Aumack, she was born on July 23, 1926, in Marlboro, New Jersey.
Thelma dedicated her life to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and The Highlanders in Highland Falls. She was also an avid bird lover and gardener.
Survivors include her son, Joseph J. DeLorenzo, Jr., and his wife, Theodora of Cornwall, NY; siblings: Harold S. Willis of New Windsor, NY; and Janet M. Willis of Campbell Hall, NY; her granddaughter, Tammy Neville and her husband, Lance, great grandchildren: Shannon Kane, Patrick Kane, Colleen Kane, and Aidan Kane; great-great granddaughter, Aubree Conero, and by several nieces and nephews. Thelma was predeceased by her loving husband Joseph J. DeLorenzo. Sr., her son John J. DeLorenzo, her siblings: Burrowes H. Aumack, Warren T. Aumack, John Willis, James Willis, Robert Willis, Elizabeth A. Aumack, Nina M. Aumack and Patricia Willis, and by her granddaughter, Debra Stratton.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Blessed Sacrament Chapel in Fort Montgomery, 1048 Rt. 9W, Fort Montgomery, NY. Interment followed at Woodlawn Cemetery.
