Village Board to hold meeting

About the police study

The Village Board has canceled it’s first business meeting of July, but will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, July 7 at 4:30 p.m.

The meeting will be a work session, with CRG’s Paul Bishop, about the police consolidation study that the village is about to undergo. While the public will be allowed to attend the meeting — which will take place at the Highland Falls Senior Center (off Drew Ave.) — there will be no public comment allowed.

Police consolidation, or dissolution, has been a hot topic at the last two Village Board meetings, after a group of residents submitted a petition to the board asking for a public vote on the matter.
