Fort Montgomery man sponsors Speedway car

Landon and Livia Huber are fans of auto racing. That’s not so odd, really … many people are.

But, Landon and Livia are seven and six years old, respectively. And what they’re most fond of when it comes to racing? That their dad’s company, L&L Property Maintenance, a local company, is the sponsor of the #18 CJM Motorsports car in Orange County Speedway’s Dirt Sportsman series.

Please note …. the L&L  in L&L Property Maintenance stands for … you guessed it … Landon and Livia!

The cute kids, whose mom is Fort Montgomery’s Alissa Lewandosky, were with their dad, Jeremy Huber, at the track this past Saturday evening for the season opener.

“They loved it,” Huber says, “the guys on the team have kids and they had a good time all around. Landon, especially, really loves that kind of stuff.”

The brand new car, driven by Bobby Waters Jr. of Middletown, and owned by Chris Moreno of Lagrangeville, also had a good night. Although it was more of an exhibition evening, “they did good,” Huber said.

So, why did he lend his company name to the race car?

“We have mutual friends, and Chris Moreno reached out looking for sponsors, so I figured I would do it. They seem to be really good guys, and love the sport. And, it helps me out, getting my business name out there,” he said.

So, if you’re looking for L&L to do a little yard work for you — landscaping, weeding and trimming, seeding and irrigation, aeration, or spring and fall cleanups and more, call Huber at 845-527-5399. But, if you’re looking for him, Livia or Landon on a Saturday evening, you’re going to have to take a trip to the Orange County Speedway!
