Thomas A. Belladone

February 3, 2021

Thomas A. Belladone, 66, passed away much too soon on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at Vassar Brother’s Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, due to COVID-19 complications. Tom was the third of four boisterous boys born to loving parents Tony and Alice Belladone. Born in Cornwall, NY and raised in the village of Highland Falls, many would agree that Tommy was the most animated and uninhibited of his siblings who survive him: Anthony (Dale), James (Suzanne), and Joseph (Amy) Belladone. He was known as “Crazy Uncle Tom,” to his nieces and nephews on both sides of the family.

Tom was employed by IBM, East Fishkill for over 30 years as an Engineering Technician. To him, this was always just a job, although he made great friendships along the way. His family was his priority. Tom spent many weekends coaching softball, making the most amazing omelets, hiking, kayaking, enjoying concerts and being grandmaster of the grill. He reveled in his fatherly duties. Chopping down Christmas trees, making Grandpa’s Belly-Busters, and backflipping into the swimming pool are some of the memories we take with us. His most important title was always “Dad.” He is survived by his three loving daughters: Krista (Gregory) Borrero, Janna (Blake) Aarstad, and Sara Belladone who he raised alongside his former wife and forever friend, Brenda Edwards. Tom experienced the honor of being promoted to Grandpa, leaving behind Austin Ciancanelli and Ava Aarstad. Lastly, lest we forget his beloved four-legged companion, Samantha.

We miss him dearly and will cherish all the wonderful memories of one who was always the life of the party, the person you most wanted by your side.

Rest in Peace Dad. Until we meet again… “we love you more,”
