Andrew Marcinak, Sr.

Andrew “Andy” M. Marcinak, Sr. passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020 with family by his side at home in Fort Montgomery. He was 59 years old.

Son of the late John Casper Marcinak & Ruth Naomi Knopf Marcinak, Andy was born on November 25, 1960 in Cold Spring. He grew up in Garrison and attended James I. O’Neill High School. Andy loved that he was blessed with “lifelong friends.” He was also the parts manager for BMW for many years, through which he gained an amazing and loving second family. Andy was an avid sports fan, especially of the New York Rangers, Mets & Jets.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Lupinetti Marcinak at home; son, Andrew M. Marcinak, Jr. of Fort Montgomery; daughter, Rebecca R. Marcinak of Lewes, Delaware; and several nieces & nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers, John Marcinak and Stevie Frohnhoefer, whom he dearly missed.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 5-8 p.m. at William F. Hogan Funeral Home, 135 Main St., Highland Falls. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Cold Spring Cemetery in Cold Spring.
