The O’Neill High School Drama Club will perform four shows of ‘Urinetown’ in the high school auditorium, from March 20-22.
A musical, it’s a satirical comedy that premiered in 2001, and has won several Tony Awards on Broadway. The play satires the legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibility, populism, bureaucracy, corporate mismanagment and municipal policies.
The show will be directed by Natalie Arneson, who has led O’Neill students in very successful performances for the past three seasons.
The cast includes: Evan Owens, Claire Kobylski, Paul Podias, Daniel Kimball, Kara Hartley, Jacqueline Evangelista, Meabh Gage, Abbey Fuhriman, Sophie Gilmore, Adriana Espinoza, Cas VanHoven, Brizna Fregoso, Neo Wastin, Kyle West, Solana McKee, Brandon Farrier, Josh Bluman, Kieaysia Amos, Katie Schreiner, Timmy Podias, Pekina Mata’utia, Grace Nowicki, Antonella Rufasta, Phoebe Sparrow and Jeremy Stoll.
