Congratulations to O’Neill High School’s Kate Barnes, Adelaide Crow, Samantha Reeves, Emme Richards and Eve Oakley — On January 11, the five competed in an Academic Bowl at Fort Hamilton High School in NYC. The competition was very stiff going against schools four times the size of O’Neill, JROTC Commander Maj. Bradley Damschen said. “They battled their way to a third place finish; I am extremely proud of these ladies and their work ethic.” The team will compete in the second round of competition next month to possibly earn its way to the national competition in June 2020.
