(Photo by MJ Pitt) - Wintermarket manager Akenataa Hammagaadji adds information to the market sign recently -- the indoor farmers market (of sorts) resumes this week after the holidays. Cheeses, baked goods, craft items, prepared foods and more are available inside the Holy Innocents Parish Hall.

“Happy New Year everybody! After a short break over the holidays, we are busy again as we gear up for the first Wintermarket of 2020, on Saturday, Jan. 11.”

Those are the words of Wintermarket manager Akenataa  Hammagaadji as he gears up for this Saturday’s market.

“This week we will be raffling a pair of tickets to a guided tour of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point,” he added. “See you at the Wintermarket!”

The following vendors have so far committed to vend this week:

Port Morris Distillery: Puerto Rican moonshine, with ginger, coconut & other flavors.

Cooperstown Cheese: Gouda, Jersey girl, blue & other artisanal cheeses.

Kookie Kueen: Gluten free baked goods.

Grand Mango Caribbean Restaurant: Ready-to-eat, home cooked food, Jamaican style.
