The Town Board heard two presentations at its meeting on April 8. While no decisions on either topic were made — the board went into the evening knowing the presentations were informational only.
For the 97th year in a row, the Highland Falls Fire Department has sworn in it’s newest officers, and handed out awards to those department members who went ‘above and beyond’ in 2018.
The annual Little League/Ponytail League/Coach Pitch and T-ball parade will take place on Main St. in Highland Falls on Saturday, April 27, stepping off at 10 a.m. The rain date for the event is Sunday, April 28.
Seven members of the O’Neill High School senior class and the Youth-in-Government Club attended the annual Orange County Youth Service Day on April 5. There, their high school was honored.
On Sunday, April 28, the Highland Falls Library will open its doors for a special event — three ‘local’ storytellers will be on hand for a panel discussion about their work and craft.
