Each year Orange-Ulster BOCES Career and Technical Education students in the Digital Design & Advertising Program create smoking cessation and prevention posters for the Orange County Department of Health to commemorate the Great American Smokeout. The winning posters were unveiled at an awards ceremony on November 21 — second place winner was O’Neill High School’s Alexa Walsh, of Highland Falls. The posters are used in smoking prevention campaigns throughout the year.
