Joan T. Squicciarini passed away on Friday, Nov. 29 at The Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh. She was 82 years old.
The daughter of the late William and Caroline Marino Kelly, she was born March 30, 1937 in Suffern. Joan was the owner of Highland Stone, in Highland Mills. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Highland Falls.
Survivors include her son Martin F. Squicciarini, Jr. and wife Mary Elizabeth of Lansdale, Penn.; her daughter Robin desRosiers and husband William of Highland Falls; her brother James Kelly and wife Dolores of The Villages, Fla.; her sisters Carolyn Willson of West Haverstraw and Patricia Powers and husband James of Vero Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren – Martin Thomas Squicciarini and wife Sarah, Patricia Evans and husband Charles, Laura Squicciarini, William F. desRosiers and wife Jamie and Kelly Ann Marie desRosiers; one great-grandchild Lily Joan Evans; several nieces and nephews; and a special five year old friend, Hunter Guers of Highland Falls.
Joan is predeceased by her husband Martin F. Squicciarini, Sr.
A Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at Sacred Heart Church in Highland Falls. Interment will follow at Eagle Valley Cemetery, in Town of Highlands.

William Edward Vingoe, a proud Navy serviceman and native of Highland Falls, passed away on Nov. 30. He will survive in the hearts and minds of friends and family. Most notably his wife Amy, son Jimmy and niece Belinda.
