Meet the Author

The Friends of the Library will host a Meet the Author night featuring Mary Laders on Tuesday Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. in the lower level of the library. Light refreshments.

Prelicensing Driving Class

There will be a 5-hour Prelicensing Driving Class offered on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 10 a.m. Walk-in class, open to all NYS residents (no pre-registration necessary) and is the required course to get a NYS Driver’s License. Bring a valid NYS photo Learner’s Permit and the $40 fee. Last class at the library for 2019. For additional info please contact Roger at 786-2033.

Story Time

On Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. ‘Pre-Kindergarten Story Time’ meets, September-December. Call to register.

Book Club

The monthly book club at the library on the first Tuesday of the month, beginning at 1 p.m. and always invite new members to join! November Book Club selection is The English Patient by Michael Ondaatje . The group will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 1 p.m. New members always welcome.

We Thank Our Friends!

National Friends of the Library Week is October 20-26. We are very grateful for all of the support our Friends group gives to our library. New members are always welcome to join. The next meeting is Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 5 p.m.

Reptile Rally

Join us on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 6 p.m. when a few live reptiles visit us so we can learn about them.

Adult Basket Weaving

There are still seats available for Saturday, Nov. 2 program, from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Call to register! Deadline is October 26.

Mah Jongg

The Mah Jongg players meet on Mondays in the Community Room. They welcome new players and will teach those who are interested.

Great Give Back

From October 19-25 we will be collecting donations to support the Hudson Valley SPCA. The mission of The Great Give Back is to provide a day of opportunities for the patrons of public libraries to participate in meaningful, service-oriented experiences.

Exhibit Extended

The Appalachian Trail Thru-Hiker photo exhibit by local photographer Stan Goldblatt has been extended through the end of January.
