Around 8 p.m. one fateful evening, Jenni Love’s first Reiki client “bopped up the driveway.” As if drawn together by unseen forces, Jenni and her client, EV Heart, made an instant connection that remains to this day. “Everything is vibration,” Jenni explains. And when two energies are vibrating in resonance, it can create a powerful combination.
“We’re like ying and yang,” says Jenni. “We compliment each other. Our partnership is a marriage of what we both do.”
Jenni and EV are both certified herbalists and Reiki masters, combining their various skills to offer clients a holistic approach to wellness. Their most popular services are “fusion healings,” which are comprised of Reiki treatment (a “hands-on” system of energy healing begun in Japan) along with crystal work and sound therapy. In addition, Jenni has become a health coach and now offers weight loss counseling to her clients. “We want people to be well in mind, body and spirit,” she says.
But that isn’t all to be found at Two Chicks Bewitched. They also offer tarot readings, assorted crystals and stones, essential oils, spiritual tools and more. Their most popular products are a roll-on oil called “Shield,” designed to help empaths (those who are particularly sensitive to the energy and emotions of others) and “Liquid Gold,” an oil-based skin cleanser.
Before opening the store in March of 2017, the pair would do pop-up shops at festivals and holistic markets. At the time, both were working out of their homes but longed for a better way to connect and work together. So when Jenni happened across an available storefront listing on Craigslist, it’s as if the Universe had provided the solution!
Their shop, at 264A Main Street across from the Highland Falls Post Office, is easy to spot. Its distinctive purple door invites everyone from the spiritually curious to the devoted practitioner. Inside, the space itself is charming with a cozy atmosphere that makes it easy to browse and interact with the shopowners.
