At the May 18 Military Appreciation Banner dedication ceremony, Chamber of Commerce President Jim Modlin presented Bob Quintavalla, representing American Legion Post 633 with a donation check of $2000 for the Legion. Commander John Flynn said he’s not sure yet what the funds will be used for, but hopes that the Chamber and Legion can work together on a project to support local veterans.
