Spring is finally here!

Ray L. Sheldon, a long time resident of Stony Point, has just celebrated his 100th birthday on March 17. He was born in Jersey City, NJ, and was married to Eleanor (Stalter) for 66 years before she passed away in May 2009.

Supervisor Bob Livsey reminds all who use Mine Dock Park in Fort Montgomery that parking is prohibited on the river side of the track.

Behind the counter at Perry’s for the last 10 years is Fort Montgomery’s Perry Spacone. He’s a master of breakfast sandwiches and quick comebacks. With him five days a week behind that counter since last summer is Highland Falls’ Meredith Johnson.
