Just after heavy rain stopped on Sunday afternoon this was the flow in the Highland Brook, behind Town Hall. At Monday’s Village Board meeting, Trustee Merv Livsey, who lives along the brook, said he is concerned that “more water than ever” is moving through the village and asked that officials take a look at water sources feeding into it to see what has changed. Others at the meeting blamed the excessive water on significant rain in recent months.
