Community residents donated dozens — they filled ten 40-gallon size bags! — of coats at Wallkill Valley Federal Savings & Loan this fall. Jim DiSalvo, who has held the collection for the past four years, said the coats have been delivered to the county’s Salvation Army headquarters and will be distributed to those who need them. He thanks all who dropped off the warm clothing.
